Rules of Football Tennis

The most important ingredient for a game of football tennis is flow! Below are a set of rules that should be suitable for most young players. However, if you are finding it too difficult (or too easy) to strike up a rally, then you should feel free to adapt them.

  • The ball is served from the back of the court with a football throw-in or from the middle of the court with an underarm throw.
  • When the ball crosses the net, you have three touches and one bounce to return it. These can be taken by one player, or multiple players working together.
  • Each set is to 11 points.
  • If you win the point you serve the next point.
  • A point is scored, regardless of who served.
  • We recommend that you keep playing for your whole slot rather than a fixed number of sets.

KSA is providing Football Tennis opportunities in the safest and most controlled manner possible. However, please note that like any activity in a public space you are playing at your own risk. Please follow the guidelines and if you have any questions click here to contact us.
